9th,10th & 11th July 2010, Pictures © Richard Bruford The Gloucestershire & Warickshire Railway very kindly invited our Class 25, D7612 to their Diesel Gala. It performed well, doing a Winchcombe to Gotherington Shuttle service on the Friday, four trips to Gotherington and a couple of viaduct shuttles on the Sat and Sunday. It was a good weekend, punters and staff alike seemed to enjoy themselves and they looked after us beautifully. It went pretty well to plan, though a little late at times. 37 215 was repaired from a battery charge fault in time for Sunday and 08 202 blew an air pipe on the Friday, but was repaired by teatime, much to the gronk basher's delight!
