We are a small company, formed to preserve, operate & hire out ex B.R. Diesel locomotives, based on the SDR at Buckfastleigh, Devon. We currently own two class 20s: 20 110 (D8110) and 20 118 (D8118), a class 25: D7612 (25 262, 25 901) and a class 33: 33 002 (D6501).

We also have W55000, the original "Bubble Car" 1958 class 122 DMU on our books as this belongs to our treasurer.

Also on the South Devon Railway is Class 04 no. D2246, Class 37 No. 37 037 & Class 50 No.50 002 . These are owned by our sister group, the DDS


The SDR Trust own D3666/09 002, the first 09 to be preserved, but it needs a lot of wheel and axle box work before it can enter traffic, which we are currently fundraising for. If you feel you can help, please contact one of us us above.
